Target: EGGEBEK GERMANY Airfield (2 aircraft) - (54.6251, 9.346)

Built in 1938, Eggebek served as a hub for the supplies into occupied Norway and for sorties over the North Sea in the north of the United Kingdom. Bombed by the RAF on 22 April 1945, it was one of the last remaining air bases of the German Reich. The construction of a new airport began in 1959 in the vicinity of the former airfield.
