Target: BAD ZWISCHENAHN GERMANY Airfield (71 aircraft) - (53.2066, 7.99089)

Bad Zwischenahn was established in 1937 as a civil airport with a grass runway and seaport. Taken over by the Luftwaffe in 1939, it was reconstructed and extended in 1940. In addition to hosting day and night fighters, Bad Zwischenahn was used to air-launch V1s after the ground launching sites in France were lost. It was captured by Canadian troops at the end of April 1945. All hangars and runways were blown up, and the RAF set up a hospital at the lakeside. The hospital was taken over by the German Defense (Bundeswehr) in 1959.
