Target: BRANDENBURG GERMANY Airfield (138 aircraft) - (52.4382, 12.4568)

The airfield was built between 1912 and 1914 on the banks of the Havel River. An aviation factory, Brandenburg Flugzeugwerke GmbH, produced aircraft in the first World War. Before World War II, it served as an instructional airfield. At the beginning of World War II the airfield served aircraft that participated in the Poland campaign. During the war the airfield housed the Arado factory and its primary use was research and testing. After the war the airfield became a support facility for the Soviet Armed Forces and the East German Nationale Volks Armee or NVA. In July 2009 the airfield closed.
